Regular eye tests are important not just for checking your vision but for checking your overall eye health, even if you feel your eyesight is perfect. Some eye diseases may not present with symptoms until later stages, and the earlier an issue is detected, the more likely we are to be able to prevent or limit any sight loss. Using our OCT we can take retinal images and scan through the retina to potentially pick up these problems early and help prevent them from ever being a problem. We recommend that everyone has a professional eye examination every two years or sooner, depending on age, general health, existing eye conditions or family history of glaucoma.
